【报告摘要】
In this talk, I will report our theoretical research on the effect of the light-matter counter-rotating interaction (CRI) in the Rabi lattice model. Both the ground state and the spectra of low-lying excitations are obtained with use of a sophisticated unitary transformation. This CRI is shown not only to induce a long-range interaction between cavities, favoring the long-range superfluid order, but also to break the conservation of local polariton number at each site, leading to the absence of the Mott lobes in the phase diagram, in sharp contrast with the case without the CRI as well as that of the Bose-Hubbard model.
【报告人简介】
郑杭教授1985年在上海交通大学获理学博士学位，1988年起任上海交通大学物理学教授。郑杭教授从事凝聚态物理学的教学和研究工作。主要研究方向为凝聚态物理和量子物理。在极化子理论，低维系统派尔斯相变和电荷密度波问题，高温超导与电声子机制，局域和合作杨－特勒系统，量子退相干问题和耗散量子系统等方面的研究中取得一系列成果。在国内外学术刊物上发表论文九十余篇，被国内外学者他引五百余篇次，并有国内外三十个单位的研究组在七十余篇SCI论文中采用他提出的压缩态方法做研究。1991年获国务院学位委员会授予的“做出突出贡献的中国博士学位获得者”称号。1991年和1995年两次获国家教委科技进步奖。1994年获国家教委《跨世纪优秀人才计划》基金的资助。1995年获国家杰出青年科学基金的资助。1996年被批准进入国家人事部，国家教委和国家自然科学基金委等七部委“百千万人才工程”。1997年被国家人事部批准为“中青年有突出贡献专家”。1999年获国家自然科学三等奖。
